Adobe

Producers of Photoshop and of Acrobat Reader. Both are excellent products. Almost everyone has access to Acrobat Reader and thus PDF files are a great way of sending information in the page and text formatting of your choice. We use Photoshop Elements 6 for fiddling with photos and image sizes.

Apple Computer

An Apple iMac was used to produce the site. There isn't the base of cheap software but the machine is robust and quick and the display is beautifully clear. Safari is quicker than Explorer and displays frames in a nicer way so make sure that you're proofing your pages in Explorer as well. IE6 is notoriously difficult and is not web friendly.
